The Taipei Sun is commentary on Taiwanese baseball — news, takes, and the occasional argument.
About the newsletter
The name comes from the historical Taipei Gida in the defunct Taiwan Major League. Gida means sun in Atayal, one of Taiwan’s indigenous languages. Consider this newsletter one dude’s attempt to shine a light on Taiwanese baseball.
If you follow international baseball, care about the stories happening outside the American mainstream, or simply want an opinion on one of the sport’s most fascinating and overlooked corners — The Taipei Sun is for you. Come for the takes, stay because you’re already subscribed.
